Stepped reading area

One of the highlights in the library is the Shushan Foreign Languages Library, which is distributed in a staircase pattern and is a reading area for foreign original books and an activity area for readers. Layers of upward stairs, combined with open bookshelves as the background, create an angular "book mountain" artistic conception, and a step next to it leads to the third floor, implying "the book mountain has roads and diligence as a path".

Stepped study area

It is connected to the second and third floors, scattered like terraces, with 106 seats. The study area adopts a semi-outdoor lighting design. In addition to self-study here, readers can also gather visually on the Jiaomen River and Haibin Road. The beautiful landscape enhances the reader's reading experience, self-study and sight-seeing are correct, can read sage books with one heart, and hear things outside the window with both ears.

Ring corridor open reading area

The entire library adopts a circular gallery design, which connects multiple reading thematic zones set up in the library to minimize closed thematic areas and create an open reading atmosphere. The mahogany color furniture is steady and warm, creating a homely "study"-like feeling. The library will have 30,000 original foreign books in economics, literature, art design and other types for free reading for readers. The parent-child reading area is located on the first floor with independent entrances. Six functional rooms are also designed to create a relatively independent reading and communication space for readers.

There are 1,000 reading seats, a design collection of 900,000 books, and an estimated population of 1 million. The area is distinct, and the visually impaired readers, the elderly, etc. have special reading areas. Different people can find reading spaces in line with their own habits, which is very intimate and humane.

Multifunctional area

The lecture hall is located on the first floor and can accommodate 418 people. The origami shape reflects the spatial level changes and rhythmic beauty. It is modern without losing its personality, which not only enriches the space lighting effects, but also meets the acoustic requirements.

The music hall on the second floor is one of the highlights of the library's services. The hall is equipped with a high-definition sound-transmitting projection screen and a 7.1 channel projector that supports the playback of 3D movies. The audiovisual experience is sufficient to reach the cinema level. You can make an appointment to participate in the activities of the music hall, enjoy and learn music, videos, etc., find the joy of knowledge from the audiovisual, and improve your accomplishment.

Located on the first floor, waiting for the coffee book bar, named "Guangzhou Book Shopping Center Nansha". With an area of about 600 square meters, the books on the shelves will be kept synchronized with the bestsellers in Tianhe Book Center. After reading the book, return it to the general service desk of the library and incorporate it into the collection through professional processing. Part of the right to select books in the library is transferred to readers, making the collection closer to the needs of readers.
